The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application system.
Applications at the moment are open and can shut on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must satisfy the following requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house that has a combined gross family earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined residence earnings does not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and want not submit any proof of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent residents from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to offer the proper Id Doc numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored in their South African ID.
NSFAS only more info funds individuals who are learning or intend to study at a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities 2025 nsfas application and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the nsfas 2025 last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
